Jon Adam Freeman was born in Blackpool, UK, and spent much of his early years in the north of England. It wasn't until his family moved to the south of England that Jon started performing for the stage and joined a youth theatre group. Concentrating in musical theatre and dance, Jon went on to train in contemporary dance at Middlesex University, London whilst resident as a dancer at Sadler's Wells Theatre as part of the Lilian Baylis Youth Dance Company. Jon has appeared in numerous stage musicals both on and off London's West End, as well as new theatre works.
Continuing in dance Jon lead several dance master-classes at an all girls school in north London whilst also working in theatre management.
Television roles have included two episodes of CBBC drama Oscar Charlie a range of commercials and modelling roles. For the stage, Jon brought the house down as the headline act in Sunday Night Live at Her Majesty's Theatre London with his rousing rendition of Frank Sinatra as well as several roles in musical theatre.
Having lived and worked in the UAE Jon returned to the UK and has continued to appear in film, television and theatre worldwide. Feature film credits include Thorne: Sleepyhead, Cleanskin, The King's Speech, Layer Cake, Street Dance, Season of The Witch and House Full. Recently Jon has completed roles in several short independent films including Go Fish!, Hiatus, Draggin' Fist, The Comeback and Secrets & Lies.
As a solo recording artist, Jon has recorded numerous songs and released 5 singles internationally to date. These include Across The Dance Floor, Disco In Your Head, I Didn't Know, Feels Good.
Jon also works as a model and voice over artist and has appeared in corporate video and stills footage for iStock purposes, and is a web and online presenter for Shooting Business.
Jon now lives in the UK.
